The Change Profile is a component of The Success Profiler. Its focus is on the identification and skill enhancement of emotional intelligence factors known to help one adapt to change and learn new skills. Rather than attempting to address the knowledge and skills related to change (as competitive systems do), the focus is on the emotional intelligence skills needed for successful change. If barriers are identified, the system provides skill enhancements to remove those barriers. Research has demonstrated over the past 20 years that, while most individuals can obtain the knowledge and technical skills related to change without the presence of emotional intelligence, this knowledge is not a factor in increased ability to learn new skills and adapt to change.
The Change Profile contains an assessment component electronically linked to a skill-enhancement component. The skill-enhancement component consists of over 50 hours of instruction. The two lowest-scoring areas will be automatically assigned and delivered. The program administrator can change assigned activities through the management system. The management system scores, assigns, delivers, tracks and reports information on each user in the system.
The Change Profile uses several different assessments to help develop involvement and commitment. The assessments included are:
Personal Skills Map - identifies social/emotional intelligence in order to help users be more successful in life and at work
Winning Colors - identifies present behavioral communication strengths and shows how others may be nurtured and developed
Vision Description Form - identifies the vision for change in an organization
Commitment Map - assesses the commitment level of people key to the change process
Synergy Map - assesses current levels of skill that are important in building synergy in the change process
Impact Map - assesses the skills of key personnel to sell the change process to others
Resistance Map - determines from where resistance to change will come
