Course for Credit from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs 1-3 Undergraduate Credits 1-3 Graduate Credits The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs (UCCS) offers two fully accredited elective undergraduate courses based upon classroom work currently accomplished by high school programs nationwide. Additionally, college graduates can earn up to three graduate/professional credits for their efforts in the classroom or by attending an instructor seminar. Courses offered: Emotional Intelligence (1-3 undergraduate or graduate credits) Personal Responsibility-Achieving Academic and Career Goals (1-3 undergraduate or graduate credits) Tuition Rate: $70.00 per credit (until June 30, 2008) $75.00 per credit (after July 1, 2008) Along with the tuition fee comes a request for transfer form. The transfer of credits is at no additional cost. The transfer of credits could be made to most any college or university throughout the United States. The final decision for acceptance of transfer of credit is solely at the discretion of the college or university. Procedure: Go to www.jrotccollegecredit.com and click on “Register Here” in the upper right hand corner. From the “Instructors/Mentors/Adult Learners” drop down list, select “Civilian Instructors”. Complete the form and select the course from the drop down menu ("Personal Responsibility" or "Emotional Inteligence"). The green course listings are undergraduate level and the blue course listings are gradualte level. Verify that this information is correct. You will receive an email shortly with detailed instructions on how to complete signing up for the online course. You will then need to sign up for a student ID from UCCS. Go to http://www.uccs.leadershipcredit.info/?g=sid to sign up (NOTE: it will take as long as 48 hours to get your student ID) Go to http://www.uccs.leadershipcredit.info/?g=pin and use your student ID to get your PIN. You can now register for the course. Go to http://www.uccs.leadershipcredit.info/?g=soc and enter your student ID and PIN and click the submit button. Click on the Registration Tab Click "Register" Indicate "Extended Studies" and Correct Term Enter Call Number (this was in the email you received) Click the "Add" Button and Hours (for variable credit courses) When done adding courses, Click "Next" at bottom right of screen To view Student account balance/payments, Click "Account Balance/Payments" button at bottom of screen – the cost is $75/credit and payments are made online with a credit card.
